Dr. Vijay Jain, MD, brings over 40 years of experience in General Surgery and 20 years of focused study of Integrative Medicine to his engaging integration of traditional/Western medicine with ancient Ayurvedic medicine. In addition to his Ayurveda practice, Dr. Jain teaches Ayurvedic certificate courses on behalf of International University of Yoga and Ayurveda which he co-founded in 2013. He specializes in Ayurvedic Detoxification (Panchakarma) therapies and Rasayana (Tissue tonifying) therapies for chronic life style diseases and graceful ageing. Dr. Jain also co-authored a book titled “Unfolding Happiness” based on the principles of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Michele has her degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. In 2001, Michele received both her 200-Hour Teacher Training Certification and her 500-Hour Professional Yoga Therapist Certification from Integrative Yoga Therapy. In 2006, Michele received an additional 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Shiva Shakti Synthesis. Michele is also a Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor. She also completed and received her certification in Amrit Yoga Teacher Training in September 2011 and Amrit Yoga Nidra Facilitator certification in October of 2011. In August of 2014, Michele received her certification as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant from International University of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Janice LISW, E-RYT500, ALC has a Master’s Degree in Social Work, has taught yoga for 30 years. Since 2001, she has facilitated a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-approved training program and in 2005 she began offering an advanced 500-hour Yoga Alliance-approved therapeutic yoga program entitled ShivaShakti Synthesis; in 2014 the ShivaShakti Synthesis, LLC partners renamed the program the Samyoga Institute.
Janice met Dr. Jain in 2000 and has studied with him since. His influence has enriched her life and teachings. Dr. Jain was influential in starting the teacher training program and is Director of the Ayurvedic Programing.
Janice has been with IUYA since its inception and is thrilled to be joining the teaching staff. Her passion is integrating the sister sciences of yoga and ayurveda.
Janice has completed yoga teacher training at Kripalu and with Integrative Yoga Therapy in the Professional Yoga Therapist Program. She is a certified iRest Yoga Nidra teacher and facilitator. She has also studied with other schools of yoga and meditation. Kamini Desai, PhD
For the last 30 years Kamini has created unique body of teachings combining the ancient wisdom of yoga with modern psychology.
She is the Education Director and Core Curriculum Developer of the Amrit Yoga Institute, a cutting edge teaching center for advanced studies in eastern philosophy. She is one of three Founding Directors of the International University of Yoga and Ayurveda with Dr. Vijay K Jain, MD.
Considered an expert in the inner sciences of yoga, relaxation and artful living, she is a frequent guest speaker and teacher at various institutions worldwide. In 2012 she was awarded the title of Yogeshwari (a woman of yogic mastery) for her keen ability to bring ancient illumination to the genuine challenges of the human experience.
Kamini is the author of the acclaimed book, Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep, which uniquely illuminates the ancient teachings of Yoga Nidra with modern science and psychology. Her previous book, Life Lessons, Love Lessons has been describeed as “Eat, Pray, Love meets Sex in the City.”

Vaidya Raut is passionate about teaching and promoting Ayurveda and is an Ayurveda faculty at many colleges in North America. She has been presented by the North America award of “Charaka” in recognition of her excellence in Ayurvedic teaching in 2012. She is a ‘Second degree Reiki healer’. Vaidya Raut was also awarded a prestigious ‘Shiromani Award’ by Indian Board of Alternative Medicines for her contributions towards the integrative medicine in the industry. Vaidya Raut is an integrative Ayurvedic practitioner, Nutritional consultant and a holistic health educator. She is a third generation Vaidya who is classically trained in Ayurveda from Mumbai University, India. She earned the distinctive honor and a gold medal for her post graduate dissertation work. She has been practicing Ayurveda for more than a decade and has been an integral part of the Ayurveda healing community with a mission towards providing a Holistic Path for Wellness and Optimal Health through Ayurveda and integrative medicine.
Vaidya Raut has been an authorized teaching faculty for CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and lay responders and First Aid training programs at the American Red Cross Heartland Chapter in IL, USA and has won recognitions for her voluntary contributions on community health and safety at the American Red Cross. She has conducted a large number of workshops, authored publications, participated in talk shows, and presented research papers in the field of Ayurveda.
She holds a position as a “Secretary” of AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners of North America) and also an Executive committee member AAPNA. She is a Life time member of NIMA (National Integrated Medical Association-India), founder and core member at CAC (Counsel for Ayurveda Credentialing) and holds many advisory positions in various Ayurveda holistic health organizations. She is a Director of Ayurveda at Main Street Yoga, Bloomington and founding Director of Ayurveda for Healing and is actively involved in practicing and promoting Ayurveda in the country.

He is an international lecturer on the treatment of various topics such as the Management of Diabetes, Allergies, Beauty and Stress Management using Ayurvedic medicine and Panchkarma therapy. He was invited to visit Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, UK, Spain, Morocco, Holland, France, Italy, Greece, Canada and Venezuela for Ayurveda promotional activities; such as lectures, workshop and counseling. He has proven success-treating patients of varying age, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. He was invited to deliver a lecture on Ayurveda by Vienna International Center (VIC) at United Nations Headquarter (UNO), Vienna on 25th May 2005.
Lately he started sharing his practical knowledge and experience with new comers in the field. He is now offering Franchise for Migraine Management. Today he is having 7 franchise in India working under the name of Ayulink Migraine Management Center.
He is the pioneer in the state to draw foreign patients for Ayurveda treatments through Internet. Also his efforts now made it possible to draw foreign students in this state for further practical training in the field of Ayurveda. He is conducting several training courses under Ayulink Education for overseas students for practical training in the field of Ayurveda and Panchkarma since 1996. Students from USA, UK, Switzerland have participated in this course till today. He is pioneer to promote Ayurveda Tourism in the Gujarat State, and having first of its kind agreement with a Caracas based, Latin American Company for the purpose.
As pharmaceutical consultant with special interest in research and development of natural, herb-based health products for nutritional and cosmetic purposes, he is involved in exports (Ayulink Food Products) and Clinical Research – Human Clinical Trails (Ayulink Clinical Research).
